Liverpool interested in signing 21-year-old Superligaen winger


 Liverpool are one of the few teams monitoring Midtjylland forward Gustav Isaksen ahead of a possible move in the summer transfer window. U21 Denmark international is highly rated across Europe and has a big future ahead of him. Gustav is already a crucial figure for the Danish club.

Isaksen has seven goals and three assists to his name this campaign. The Reds could certainly use a quality forward, and the teenager could prove to be a quality long-term replacement. The 21-year-old winger has also emerged on the radars of teams like Arsenal, Newcastle United, and West Ham United.

The Danish winger has the potential to develop into a top-class footballer, and working with the German coach could accelerate his development. Jurgen has a proven track record of improving youngsters. Klopp has helped the likes of Mane and Salah develop into world-class footballers at Anfield and could have a similar impact on Gustav as well.

Furthermore, the Merseyside giants are one of the biggest teams in the world, and the chance to join them would be hard to turn down. It stays to be seen whether Liverpool follow up on their interest with a concrete offer in the coming months.

The Reds need to add more depth in the wide areas. Salah and Diaz are the only natural wingers at Anfield, and the German boss has had to use attacking midfielders like Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho in the wide areas at times.
