Liverpool started talks with 24-year-old French centre-forward

Liverpool and Tottenham could go shoulder to shoulder in order to secure the signature of Randal Kolo Muani. The 24-year-old centre-forward happens to be one of the most promising prospects available on the market currently.

Randal just joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Nantes this summer and in his first Bundesliga campaign has caught the attention with his supreme skills in the attacking third. Kolo Muani has already been involved in 15 goals in the German top tier and has all the necessary ingredients to attract the attention of top teams.

France international received a call-up to the Les Bleus team as a replacement for Christopher Nkunku but is yet to play an important role in the World Cup. The Merseyside giants have failed to cope with the absence of Mane as it has been evident that they haven’t managed their attacking contingent well.

Nunez has barely been able to prove his consistency since his summer move and time is running out. The German manager would ideally want another forward to be able to compete for a place in the starting lineup but his high price could pose a serious problem.

Frankfurt could demand as high as £69m for his service and it would be difficult for the Reds to fund that kind of amount. They are looking to rope in a midfielder and Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham tops their list. Kolo Muani has a lot to play for and it could be too soon for the young player to get such big moves so early in his career.
