Liverpool in the battle to sign 18-year-old Dortmund striker

The battle for Youssoufa Moukoko is heating up as several high-profile English teams continue to chase the Borussia Dortmund centre-forward.

The Chelsea and Man City target’s dea expires in the summer, as he will be able to sign a pre-contract in January, with Liverpool very much in the race.

The Merseyside giants are one of several teams extremely keen on signing Germany international.

Moukoko’s deal expires in the summer, as he will remain available to sign pre-contract with teams outside of Germany during the winter window.

Bundesliga giants rues their luck over the Chelsea and Man City target, as they wanted to tie him down to a new contract.

The German giants were hoping to develop the centre-forward into a top-rated star, but it may appear he has decided on his next move.

Youssoufa has already notched 6 goals in the Bundesliga this campaign and received a call-up to Flick’s Germany squad for the World Cup. He just played one substitute game as the Germans crashed out in the group stages.

In any case, his stock has seen a dramatic rise over the last few months, thus alerting some of the biggest sides.

Jurgen Klopp has managed to refresh the attacking line quite well in recent windows with Nunez and Luis Diaz but will need more stars to finalise the group.

They have managed to open talks with the striker’s camp. The German is already considered a generational talent by some, and the Reds may not want to lose a chance like this.
