'Made his decision': £60m player changes agents and prepares for transfer after Liverpool links - Romano

Reported Liverpool transfer target Moises Caicedo has now changed his agent as he prepares for a transfer.

The Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder is one of the hottest properties in England right now, and is being linked with a move away.

And as per journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Caicedo is now taking steps to ready himself for a move.

Liverpool have been one of the sides most notably linked with interest in the 21-year-old. This is a good sign that the player himself is expecting to change clubs in the near future.

Caicedo gearing up for a big move

Caicedo has been showing right from the start of the Premier League season that he’d be a good addition for Liverpool.

He may not be a star name in the mould of Jude Bellingham or Enzo Fernandez, that’s true. But when have the Reds been all about signing the big names? Most of the success in the transfer market over the last years has been bringing in somewhat lesser-known stars.

That isn’t to say Caicedo isn’t already a name on the football world’s lips. Barcelona midfielder Pedri has been impressed with him and so has just about everyone else.

As a result, to get him from Brighton is going to be an arduous process. The Seagulls don’t always like to play ball with the big boys when it comes to transfers, and they’ll hold out for the highest price they possibly can.

But, the crucial point here is that Caicedo appears to be anticipating himself leaving the South Coast. It won’t do Brighton any good to make a move difficult for a player with his bags already packed.

Still, they’ll expect a good sized fee for the Ecuador international, and so they should. At twenty-one he still has years to develop and already looks like a top talent. The Daily Mail have suggested that £60m may seal the deal, but Liverpool might just feel they can push that down a smidge. Get those agents to work, Moises!
