(Video) Nunez painfully unlucky to not convert after Mo Salah’s brilliant pass

 


It was a first 45 minutes to forget for Liverpool players and supporters alike but could have been so different had Darwin Nunez managed to find the back of the net, after a brilliant pass from Mo Salah.

The Egyptian King plucked the ball out of the air with ease and then found his Uruguayan teammate with a sublime through ball, who did nearly everything right.

Unfortunately for our No.27 and everyone of a Red persuasion though, Ben Mee got himself back on the line and managed to clear the ball to safety.

You’d forgive the 23-year-old for thinking what more he needs to do in order to score at the moment but let’s hope that they start coming soon.

  Caoimhin Kelleher has dropped the biggest hint about his future, and a potential move away from Liverpool. Kelleher is very clearly the second-choice goalkeeper at Liverpool, but that hasn’t stopped him from grabbing the headlines over the past year or so. The 23-year-old centre-back’s current deal will expire in the summer, and he is eligible to discuss a pre-contract this month. Ndicka has attracted interest from all over the world as he has been one of the most fearsome defenders in the European circuit. Evan has been an ever-present in Eintracht Frankfurt defence, establishing himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Bundesliga.
